Episode 006 – Chris and Christian interview Stix, local hip hop artist from Watts and community activist. He tells his story of how he was introduced to LAFC. Stix vividly describes the atmosphere at the Banc of California Stadium brought by 3252 and the rest of the fans which provides such a unique energy that inspired him to write an anthem for LAFC called “My Home”. The song’s music video was just released on YouTube and has caught fire in the LA area. He continues to use his art and creativity to bridge access to resources and positive outlets in working class LA neighborhoods. In addition to all the initiatives of his Think Watts Foundation, one of his aspirations is to introduce his community to the beautiful global game of football so they can become active participants of the movement.
